ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
TOWN OF LOCKPORT — Three people walked into TJ Maxx on Thursday, grabbed some coats and purses, and walked right back out, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.
A report filed with NCSD Friday by the store's loss prevention trainer states that around 1:49 p.m. Thursday, two black females and one black male entered the store. The male went to the winter coat area and removed several North Face jackets and then went to the purse section. The females went directly to the purse section and began removing purses from the rack and staging them together at the end of an aisle. All three suspects removed several purses and the jackets and left the store passing all points of sale.
The store has video of the suspects as well as a cell phone dropped by one of the females. NCSO is holding the cell phone as evidence.
The case has been forwarded to the Criminal Investigations Bureau.
