SANBORN -- The Lewiston Police Department is asking the public's help in identifying two male suspects who robbed Smokin' Joe's Gas Station, 2293 Saunders Settlement Road Friday night.
According to a press release from the police, two male suspects -- one described as approximately 5-feet 10-inches, 230 pounds, wearing a black NBA hoodie, black sweatpants, and a white and black bandana covering his face; the second described as approximately 5-feet 8-inches tall, 170 pounds, and wearing a black hoodie/coat, and gray sweatpants -- walked into the store around 10:38 p.m.
One of the suspects displayed a black handgun during the incident. The suspects fled across a field north of the store to a red SUV or pick-up which was parked roadside on Chew Road. The vehicle then fled northbound.
The Lewiston Police Department is asking for anyone with any information to please call 754-8477 or the New York State Police at 434-5589.
