ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
The next round of lake effect snow — complete with thundersnow at times — is set to move across Niagara County between now and 10 p.m.
Conditions will rapidly deteriorate with this band, but snow rates are forecast to be around one to two inches per hour, although the band will not linger long in East Niagara.
This band will then quickly move south into northern Erie County and Genesee County, according to the National Weather Service. The band will then cross the northtowns before midnight and settle roughly over the same area that was hit harder earlier this week.
The storm will intensify toward daybreak with snow rates again expected to approach three inches per hour or higher during the morning commute.
