Dylan J. Simons, 21, 3973 Lockport-Olcott Road, was charged around 9:36 p.m. Friday with fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving with no inspection, operating a vehicle while using a phone. According to the arrest report, Simons was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be driving with a suspended license. When he was apprehended, a gravity knife was found on him. Patrol also found a jar of marijuana when they searched his vehicle. He was slated to be in City Court this morning.
Kayleigh B. DiLorenzo, 24, 1216 West Ave., Medina, was charged around 6:16 p.m. Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana, criminal possession of a hypodermic needle, speeding, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and endangering the welfare of a child. According to the LPD arrest report, DiLorenzo was stopped for a traffic violation and found to have a suspended license. When police searched the baby bag in the vehicle, they found a baggie of marijuana in a baby's sock, a pipe, lighter and hypodermic needles. The child in the car was turned over to family that was called to the scene.
