GASPORT — A Hartland Road man told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that someone stole his dog.
The man, who lives in the 3300 block of Hartland Road, said that sometime between 8 a.m. and 4:22 p.m. Tuesday, someone used bolt cutters to cut his dog from its chain.
The complainant said that his dog, a 13-year-old golden retriever has gold color hair, a black collar and weighs approximately 110 pounds. The dog's name is Scooby.
The dog's owner said that he contacted the Town of Hartland dog warden and the SPCA in regards to the incident.
The report says that NCSO considers the case closed pending new information.
