TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 25-year-old Newfane man is facing criminal mischief charges after police say he smashed his friend's windshield with a crow bar.
According to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office report, Darren L. Snell, 6263 Autumnview Station, Newfane, smashed out the windshield of an Akron Road man after the man refused to return $60 that he had borrowed.
The report states that the complainant had refused to return the money after Snell urinated all over the floor inside of his apartment one night while intoxicated.
Snell responded by smashing the windshield around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, the report states.
Snell was found at his home and charged with criminal mischief. He was ordered to appear in Town of Lockport Court on Jan. 8.
