NEWFANE — An Ellicott Road woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that someone stole a GPS system from her vehicle earlier this week.
The woman said that a Garmin GPS unit and an iPhone charger were taken from her vehicle by an unknown person sometime between approximately 3:45 p.m. Monday and 5 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle may have been unlocked, according to the report.
Patrol advised the woman to not leave any valuables in the vehicle, and to keep it locked at all times.
The case is considered closed pending more information.
A Wheeler Road woman had earlier reported to NCSO that a GPS system was stolen from her car during the same time period.
