TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Chestnut Drive man told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that someone damaged his truck early Thursday morning.
The man said that he heard a loud noise from outside his house around 1 a.m. When he went out to check it, he found a piece of asphalt that hit a chair on the porch and pushed it into the window / siding of the home. He then went out to look around his 2009 Chevy Silverado parked in the driveway, where he found a dent with scratches on the center of the hood up by the windshield.
According to the NCSO report, it appears that an unknown suspect through an unknown object at the pickup truck causing the damage.
Patrol said it will make periodic checks of the area.
