ROYALTON — The Niagara County Sheriff's Office has released the names of those involved Sunday in a shooting on Fisk Road. They are also now calling it an apparent murder-suicide.

NCSO and the New York State Police had been called to a residence in the 8800 block of Fisk Road for a report of a possible shooting. A family member of the victims called 911 reporting that an adult male and an adult female were deceased in the home.

Upon arrival, patrols located the male and female deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.

Based on the investigation, it appears to be a murder/suicide incident.

The suspect, 32-year-old Darryl L. McDaniel of Royalton, shot his girlfriend, 30-year-old Kimberli S. Socha, also of Royalton, before taking his own life, according to the Sheriff's Office.
