ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
Workers from the Department of Social Services, 20 East Ave., called the Niagara County Sheriff's Office this afternoon to report a client harassing employees in the parking lot.
The incident report filed by NCSO says that two female workers were being harassed by a male in the employee parking lot at approximately 12:40 p.m.
The complainants said the male approached them in the parking lot, yelling in a loud voice and shaking his fist at them, stating various inappropriate words and accusations regarding his benefits but did not make any direct threats to them. They said he left the parking lot eastbound.
The complainants were not looking to press charges at the time and only wanted a report on file.
The man re-entered the reception area of the building at 1:30 p.m. for a replacement Food Stamps card. Patrol advised him then that police action would be taken if actions such as this continued.
Patrol's investigation complete pending further information.
