Sara A. Colin, 28, 92 Lewis St., Upper Apt., was charged this morning with possession of stolen property, obstruction of government administration and resisting arrest. According to the LPD arrest report, police went to Colin's address to serve a warrant on Colin for an alleged theft. When they arrived, Colin grabbed one of the arresting officers and refused to comply with demands. Timothy R. Thomas, 22, of no permanent address was also picked up at 92 Lewis Street and charged with fourth-degree possession of stolen property in the same incident. Thomas had allegedly taken money from a Willow Street woman without her permission, while Colin was found to be in possession of a blank check from the same woman, according to police.

A Prospect Street woman told police around 4:20 p.m. Monday that someone had stolen Halloween decorations from her sister's yard. The headstone and skulls were valued at a combined $60.

A Vine Street man reported around 3:30 p.m. Monday that a Halloween sign and a Frankenstein sign were stolen from his yard. The decorations were estimated to be worth $40.
