TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Forestview Drive woman told Niagara County Sheirff's deputies on Tuesday that sometime between 5:30 and 6 p.m. someone stole several items from her car while it was parked at a business on Robinson Road.
The complainant said the unknown suspect entered her vehicle by smashing the driver's side window. They then stole the woman's purse, which was located under a blanket on the passenger's side floor. The purse contained $50 cash, a check book, a driver's license, and a debit card. In all, the loss was reported as $293.
Patrol reviewed surveillance video with the business owners. The unknown suspect is shown backing into a parking space next to the complainant's vehicle, breaking the window, and then driving away. The vehicle is described as a light colored SUV.
