TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Beattie Avenue woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that someone entered her home and stole her lunch bag from her kitchen counter Wednesday evening.
The woman told patrol that the suspect entered the residence between 5 and 7:30 p.m. and went through all of the rooms in the residence, apparently removing only the lunch bag from the counter. The complainant initially believed a family member had entered the home and therefore, closed and secured all of the doors.
Thursday, however, the woman was mowing her lawn, when she found the lunch bag at the rear of her property. She secured the bag and called NCSO.
The incident was forwarded to the Criminal Investigations Bureau.
