ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
ROYALTON — A Mountain Road woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies Wednesday that several items have gone missing from her home in the past couple months.
The woman said that multiple power tools were taken from her residence around the July 4, but she did not report them at that time. She further stated that over the past week she has noticed her jewelry disappearing from her residence.
The woman is remodeling her residence and had approximately 10 to 15 pounds of copper tubing in storage and that has also gone missing. When patrol inquired as to any potential suspects the complainant said she believes her son is responsible for all the items missing.
The woman contacted Niagara Metals to see if anything was being scrapped and Niagara Metals stated they could not release that information to her but they were familiar with her son.
She was not able to provide patrol with any further information in regards to the incident or in regards to any more potential suspects. Patrol advised the woman that a case report would be on file with NCSO and available for Criminal Investigations Bureau review.
