RAPIDS — A Clarence man told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that someone stole a sign off a pole outside of building he owns on Rapids Road.
The complainant told NCSO on Sunday that an unknown person took the sign sometime between Aug. 22 and Sept. 8.
The "Owls Inn" sign had been hanging on his property for about 20 years the man said. He estimated its value at about $500.
Patrol searched the outside out the building and was unable to locate any evidence.
