LeRoy W. Taylor of Portville, NY formerly of Lockport, NY and Newfane, NY husband of the late Margaret Clute Taylor entered into rest Monday, September 22, 2014 in Cuba Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Hartland, NY April 18, 1914, the son of the late Lester and Lorna Peaker Taylor. His wife Margaret died January 13, 1981. LeRoy worked for Ford Motor Company as a truck driver for car haulers for over 20 years. Member of Lockport Eagles, Masonic Lodge, Ismalia Shriners of Lockport, Cortez 12 high Shriners in Bradenton, FL, NRA and Portville Conservation Club. LeRoy wintered in Florida for many years. He also was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Father of Joseph L. Taylor of Ceres, NY, Judy Gorhan of Newfane, NY, Jane E. Taylor of Lockport, NY, Jeri L. Taylor of Newfane, NY and the late Joan Phillips and Jack Taylor. Brother of the late Peggy Murray, Jesse Voelker, Arnold Taylor, Neil Taylor and Louise DeChamp. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY 14108 THURSDAY 2-6 PM. Private graveside services will be held in Glenwood Cemetery, Lockport, NY. Memorials to a charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
