An Elmwood Avenue man is facing drug charges after Lockport police found cash and cocaine during a North Transit Street drug raid this afternoon.
Joshua D. Cooney, 26, 111 Elmwood, was charged with fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and third-degree possession of a controlled substance, both felonies.
The arrest report said police got $226 in cash and a "large quantity" of off white substance that field tested positive for cocaine.
Police Chief Larry Eggert said the department had gotten several complaints centered around the address.
"You know you did a good job when the neighbors come out and give you a thumbs up," he said.
Cooney is slated for City Court on Monday.
