ENP STAFF REPORTS

BARKER — Two Barker women called the Niagara County Sheriff's Office on one another Sunday, each saying the other attacked them for no reason.
A Lake Road woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that an East Avenue woman punched her in the face. She said she was camping in a Haight Road backyard when the East Avenue woman punched her and then threw her against a table.
The East Avenue woman, meanwhile, said that the Lake Road woman had attacked her, pushed her and grabbed her face.
Neither woman could give a reason as to why the altercation started. The homeowner on Haight Road witnessed the incident but was unwilling to speak with patrol.
Patrol assisted both parties with an accusatory instrument for harassment in the second degree, and instructed them to follow up with Somerset Town Court if they wish to file charges.
