BUFFALO -- The victim of an assault on Genesee Street died today at Erie County Medical Center.
Fourty-eight year old Clyde M. Mullen had gotten into a physical altercation with Paul Flynn, 39, late Saturday night. According to Flynn's original arrest report, Flynn grabbed Mullen by the neck and threw him down a set of porch stairs onto the concrete below.
Flynn, 80 Genesee St., Apt. 3, was arrested Sunday morning and charged with second-degree assault but further charges may now be pending.
Lockport Chief of Police Larry Eggert said that the department is in consultation with the District Attorney's office to determine whether the charges should be upgraded.
