TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Glendale Drive woman was assaulted and robbed by four suspects according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.

According to an NCSO report, the suspects — two black males and two black females — fled the scene in a white SUV after stealing the woman's cell phone and television early Thursday morning.

The incident happened around 3 a.m. when the woman let the four suspects into her apartment believing they were someone else. One of the suspects then forcibly took her phone from her hand and another began punching her repeatedly in the face and head. One of the women then got on top of the woman and began striking her in the head. The woman told patrol that the assault lasted approximately 10-15 minutes and when it ended one of the suspects went into her child's bedroom and took a flat screen TV, after which, all four left the apartment.

The complainant was transported to ENH-Lockport by South Lockport ambulance.
