NEWFANE — A Hess Road man reported to Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that sometime in the past four months someone entered his barn and took $200 worth of socket wrenches.

The man told patrol that there was tire swing in the barn that was not in there the last time he was in it. Patrol suspects that juveniles have been meeting in the barn since it is in a remote location.

The complainant has the property the barn is on posted with no trespassing signs. A lock was broken to gain entry to the barn, as well. He was not able to provide patrol with any more information in regards to the incident or in regards to any possible suspects.

Patrol considers this case closed pending new information.
