ROYALTON — A Rochester Road man told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that sometime late Thursday night or early Friday morning, someone damaged two cars parked at his business.

The man told patrol that he does custom vehicle work at the address and two of his customers vehicles were damaged while they were there between 11 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 a.m. Friday. According to the man, an unknown person smashed the windows on two of the vehicles in his lot — a 2008 Ford Explorer that had the driver's side window smashed in and the other was the rear hatch window of a 2004 Isuzu Rodeo. Both of the windows appeared to have been struck with an unknown object and there appeared to be nothing missing and nothing else out of place.

The complainant said that he did not know why anyone would have done this and that he has not had any issues with anyone. He said that he would be fixing the windows for the customers and just wanted to let patrol know about the incident.

Patrol checked the area surrounding the listed address looking for any other signs of criminal mischief, and did not located anything else of that nature.
