TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A South Transit Road business reported Wednesday that someone stole 40 wooden pallets from its property.
According to the report filed with the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, an employee of the Tractor Supply Store, 6017 South Transit Road, had just placed the pallets in the rear lot of the store around 8 p.m. Tuesday and when staff got there around 8 a.m. Wednesday, they were gone.
The store manager stated that he did not know a replacement value for the 40 pallets but the store paid a $5 deposit per pallet and they were to be returned.
