HARTLAND — An Olcott woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that $150 was taken from her wallet sometime Saturday.
The woman said she had $150 in her wallet and believed her friend had taken the money when she had given her a ride. The complainant said her friend was in the back seat where her wallet was left and after she dropped her friend off, she found her cash was missing.
The complainant told patrol that she contacted the friend immediately and he said that she had given him the money. The woman told patrol that she had no reason to give the man any money.
Patrol attempted to contact the male friend several times with negative results and will continue to follow up with this case.
