NEWFANE — A Main Street woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that an unknown person used her public benefit card without her permission.
The woman told patrol that the incident occurred at an unknown location in the City of Lockport between Aug. 10 and Friday. She said that approximately $80 worth of purchases were made with the card.
The complainant gave patrol the names of three potential persons who may have used the card without her permission. This information was forwarded to the welfare fraud division for possible further investigation.
