Niagara County Sheriff's deputies responded to the Olcott Yacht Club around 11 a.m. Sunday for a report of a boat washed ashore.
The boat, appearing to be 10-12 feet long was of fiberglass construction and maroon in color. The boat did not have a distinctive registration, but did bear the numerics: 18E23565.
Patrol notified the supervisor on duty who advised Patrol to alert the marine division of the situation. Jim's Towing secured the boat.
