NEWFANE — A Corwin Station man returned home from errands Tuesday afternoon with a large cut to his temple and no recollection of where he got it.

According to a report filed with the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, the man had left home around 12:30 p.m. to go to a hunting club in Medina to pick up a hunting trap and then drop it off at at a Lockport gun club. He arrived back home around 4:17 p.m. with the laceration and the trap he picked up in Medina still in his truck.

He could not remember if he ever made it to the Lockport gun club or how or when he received the cut on his head. Unaware of his address or what day it was, he was taken to ENH-Newfane via Wrights Corners Fire Company. Wrights Corner EMT's stated that the man had also suffered a contusion on his right temple.
