TOWN OF LOCKPORT — The Children's Organization Transplant Association for Team Frank G is teaming up with Applebee's on South Transit Road to raise funds for 33-year-old Frank Gritzmacher, who is in need of a double-lung transplant.
Today anyone who eats at Applebees and presents them with a "Dining to Donate Voucher," will have 10 percent of their bill (excluding tax and tip) automatically donated to COTA in honor of Gritzmacher. Vouchers can be found at cotaforteamfrankg.com under the "events" page or through the COTA in Honor of Frank G Facebook page. A vouchers is also at the right of this post.
"COTA for Team Frank G wants to encourage everyone in the community to attend our upcoming Dining to Donate day in an effort to help us meet our goal and get Frank a new set of lungs," said Christina Chenault. "Stop by Applebee's for lunch with a co-worker or friend, dinner with the family, or just an appetizer. One hundred percent of the funds raised will go to COTA in honor of Frank to help with transplant-related expenses."
Frank Gritzmacher was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at birth, and needs an estimated $30,000 to pay for transplant-related expenses.
