TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Buffalo woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that a man she had recently met stole her credit card after she took him out for his birthday.
According to the report filed with NCSO, the woman stated she had gone to the Transit Drive-In on Sunday with a friend she had met two weeks ago and didn't know much about. The male had told her that it was his birthday so she took him to go see a movie. While at the drive-in, the man kept moving around in the passenger seat and reached in the back of the car several times for an unknown reason, she said.
The man told the complainant that his stomach was starting to hurt and asked her to take him home. They stopped at a 7-11 store in Buffalo on the way home and it wasn't until the following day she realized he used her Visa card at the same store without her permission.
The woman said the Buffalo Police stated they would be handling her fraud case, but she needed to file a report for her stolen credit card, which she believes was taken while they were at the drive-in.
