TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 26-year-old Woodlands resident was charged with DWI and traffic violations following a traffic stop on his own street.
According to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office report, Brent J. Graham was seen not wearing his seatbelt around 7:30 p.m. Sunday at front of the mailboxes at the entrance of the Woodlands trailer park off of South Transit Road. He was found not the be wearing any shoes, just socks. When asked where he was going, he told patrol that he was just going to the mailboxes. He said that he was coming from his house which was 1062 Fernwood Dr.
He was determined to be intoxicated and charged. He was also charged with no seat belt, driving an un inspected motor vehicle, refusing to take a breath test, and aggravated driving while intoxicated felony driving while intoxicated due to a previous DWI.
He was turned over to the custody of the NCSO Jail in lieu of $750.00 police bail and was due in the Town of Lockport Court on Thursday.
