ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
NEWFANE — A Fuller Road resident to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office that someone had stolen items from his property repeatedly over the last week.
The man said the thefts started Aug. 8 when he noticed multiple items missing from his property, causing him to install a motion sensor camera on his property.
He said that he noticed more items missing from the fenced in area and his barn on Tuesday and checked the trail camera for any pictures of possible suspects. He showed patrol three photographs at multiple times through out the day, showing a gray Ford F-150 with a white male with short brown hair wearing a white shirt sitting in the driver seat. The pictures showed the truck pulling into his driveway empty and the truck leaving with the bed loaded up with numerous items.
Missing items that belonged to the complainant include: stake sides for a 12-foot truck, aluminum folding truck ramps, two push mowers, four storm doors, cast iron radiator for hot water heater, transmission for a Chevy, scaffolding parts, trailer fenders, three four wheel drive shafts, new Ford gas tank, four roto tillers, Ford truck bumper, 12 hot water radiators, miscellaneous chains, trailer axles, and 2x2x1/4 80 feet square stock Some of the items that were taken belonged to another man, including a mow deck for a riding lawn mower, snow plow for a riding lawn mower, and six radiators for 1960 era Fords.
The total value of all the items taken was $12,305 dollars.
