ENP STAFF REPORTS

The AMBER alert issued this morning for a pair of St. Lawrence County girls has been canceled.
An attorney said the girls were dropped off by someone at a home in Richville, which is roughly 15 miles away from their Mt. Alone Road home. The children knocked on the door and said they wanted to go home. They were given a lift to their home.
The two female Amish victims had gone to their roadside stand to wait on a customer in a small white sedan around 7:20 p.m. Wednesday. A witness saw a passenger of the vehicle throw something in back then get in back seat. The vehicle then left the scene and the victims were gone.
No one has been charged.
