ROYALTON — A vehicle reported stolen was recovered Tuesday morning at a Rochester Road scrap yard.
Niagara County Sheriff's deputies responded to Niagara Metal Works, 8729 Rochester Road, to recover the stolen vehicle. The manager of Niagara Metal said a man had brought the vehicle in — possibly with the help of another person — on July 3. They had a record of paying the man $530 for the vehicle.
The vehicle was processed for finger prints and DNA and was taken out of NYSPIN as stolen. Niagara Metal will wait before doing anything with the vehicle until hearing from the actual owner.
