TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 23-year-old woman was charged Sunday evening with stealing $68.33 worth of clothes from Walmart.
According to a report filed with the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, Leah Anne Cutter, 7064 Northview Dr., was observed on store security cameras putting clothing into her purse then exiting the store without paying. She then returned to the store where she was met by store security with the merchandise in her purse.
Cutter was placed into custody at 7:30 p.m. and charged with petit larceny. She was released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Lockport Court on July 10.
