The weekly walk with Mayor Anne McCaffrey has been canceled for today.
A sign greeting visitors at City Hall reads, "Due to weather and a conflict with the mayor's schedule 'Walk a Mile with the Mayor' has been canceled today, July 7th, 2014."
The mayor has been taking weekly walks around Lockport at noon on Mondays to take in the sights and listen to residents' concerns.
Any concerns that need immediate attention can be brought directly to the mayor's office this week.
