Eric A. Thompson, 18, 5279 Lockport Junction Road, was charged around 6:15 p.m. Monday with petit larceny. According to the LPD arrest report, Thompson stole a box of Reese's Pieces and a burrito from Dollar General, 1201 Lincoln Ave. The Reese's Pieces were recovered by LPD but the burrito was not. Thompson's t-shirt was seized as evidence. He was slated to be arraigned Wednesday morning in City Court.
Jeremy L. Dore, 23, 81 South St., was charged around 10:45 p.m. Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana and permitting unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. According to the police report, patrol had stopped a vehicle, driven by Katherine Manke, for a traffic infraction. While LPD was interviewing the driver, Dore approached, although he was told not to. Then LPD interviewed Dore and he admitted to having marijuana and to allowing the driver Manke, also of 81 South St., to drive his vehicle, although she was not licensed to do so. Dore was slated to be in Lockport City Court today.
