Lockport CARES, an emergency homeless shelter on Genesee Street, is holding a Chiavetta's chicken BBQ dinner starting at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Lockport Alliance Church, corner of Davison Road and East High Street.
The $9 dinner includes chicken, two sides and homemade desserts created by volunteers.
Tickets are available online or in person at the church during the event.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to help the area's homeless.
