NEWFANE — A Hillcrest Avenue woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies on Wednesday that an unknown person spray painted a portion of her vinyl fence green.
A neighbor had told the complainant that the damage, which is on the rear side of the woman's property, must have occurred between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The estimated cost to replace the portion of the vinyl fence is believed to be greater than $250.
The fence is the latest in a string of spray paint vandalism that has occurred in Newfane over the course of the past week.
The Sheriff's Office says the investigation will continue.
