ENP STAFF REPORTS

ROYALTON — An Ernest Road woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies Sunday morning that sometime overnight someone had broken into her parked vehicle and stolen approximately $110 in cash.
The woman told patrol that the incident had occurred between 11 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday. The perpetrator had smashed the rear passenger side window to get to the cash, which had been sitting on top of the woman's purse and in plain view from the outside of the vehicle.
The money was the only item that the complainant noticed missing at the time of report. The assailant had not taken the woman's purse or laptop computer, which were both also inside of the vehicle.
