NEWFANE — An Exchange Street woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies Saturday that an unknown person or people had vandalized her car sometime late Friday or early Saturday.
The woman told patrol that her Chevy Cobalt had green and red spray paint painted all over the trunk but that she and her husband were able to remove most of the spray paint themselves prior to patrol's arrival.
Similar incidents have occurred the past several nights in the area of Exchange Street and Corwin Avenue. Patrol advised the woman that a report would be filed with NCSO and that the Criminal Investigation Bureau had been notified of these occurrences.
