RIDGEWAY — A Medina woman was hospitalized after being struck by a car Saturday afternoon on Telegraph Road.
Marilyn Bell, 85, was crossing the road to get her mail when she was struck by a car driven by 79-year-old Jean P. Bruning of Middleport, according to the Orleans County Sheriff's Office.
Bell was transported by the Medina Fire Department to Medina Memorial Hospital. Bruning, the sole occupant of the 2012 Chevrolet sedan she was driving, was not injured.
The Orleans County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the accident.
