TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Dysinger Road woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies Wednesday evening that she believed a man who had been staying in her son's apartment gained access to that apartment and took things that did not belong to him.

The woman also told patrol that the man had made threats to her and her daughter, stating that he would "punch them in the face if they did not get out of his way." She said that he was very irate that they confronted him about taking property out of the apartment.

Patrol then spoke with the man who informed Patrol that he had talked to the landlord and also the sister of the tenant and explained to them that he had to get his property out of the apartment. He said the only items he had removed were the items he owned, including an Xbox, a box of clothes, his wallet, and a few other personal items.

The man said that no threats were made by either party during this time.

Patrol advised the landlord that she should not be opening the apartments for any one except the tenant that occupies that apartment. Patrol also advised all parties involved that a report would be filed with the NCSO and would be kept on file.
