APPLETON — A Gow Road man's 2008 Chevy Silverado suffered damage to the hood, windshield and passenger side mirror as a result of tonight's thunderstorm.
Niagara County Sheriff's deputies found that a large cedar tree had fallen on the truck. The storm also brought down another large tree, several other tree limbs and power lines in the area of Gow and Bishop roads.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the area to clear the tree, which was partially in the roadway, and electric crews were also dispatched to restore power.
