at Lockport High School
Performing to a packed house, two dozen band students and three dozen chorus students from George Southard Elementary School delighted friends and family at Lockport High School Thursday night.

The band, led by Debbie Hutter, performed five total songs, including two trios. The songs included "At the Edge of Chaos," a Roland Barrett piece that Hutter promised was in tune, despite what certainly did sound like chaos — as she said it would; "Irish Folk Dance," a trio performed by Elizabeth Grimmer, Alexander Nilsson and Ashley Smith on clarinet; "Grandfather's Clock," performed by Olivia Brien, Francesca DePalma and Tiffany Sprung on clarinet; "Count Trickula," by Joseph Compello; and "Freedom's Road," by Paul Lavender.

The Chorus performed three pieces by Teresa Jennings — "A Yo-Yo State of Mind," "So Cool," and "For the Good of the Many," and three songs by Mike Wilson — "Having the Time of Our Lives," "Yonder Sails A Ship," and "Los Colores De La Vida." Miss Yager directed the chorus and Hutter accompanied on piano.
