GASPORT — Skyla Dennis has a team or warriors looking to help.
The seven-year-old and her family will be the benefactors of an event Saturday, to help with the costs associated with treating her recently-diagnosed Acute Myeloblastic Leukemia.
Admission to the event is free, with funds being raised through a pasta dinner, 50/50 split, basket auction, raffles and more. A $3,000 door prize will be given away, as well.
The pasta dinner, which will be served starting at 2 p.m., costs $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages six through 12. Kids five and under eat free.
The benefit runs from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Hartland Volunteer Fire Company, 8945 Ridge Road.
