TOWN OF LOCKPORT — An 18-year-old Feigle Road woman was charged early this morning with second-degree obstructing government administration after Niagara County Sheriff's deputies say she lied about the whereabouts of a man with a warrant.

According to the report filed by NCSO, Sarah M. Morse, 5298 Feigle Road, was found driving on Lincoln Avenue around 12:58 a.m. with a passenger in her vehicle who had an active warrant, whom she had told patrol Wednesday evening she didn't know.

"On that stop, a warrant of a passenger was also executed." according to the incident report. "Patrol advised her on the first interaction that they had been looking for the two brothers with active warrants. Morse contacted the party in question and advised him of the active investigation into his current location.

"The defendant advised patrol she had not known the party in question when in fact she does. The defendant then contacted the party with the warrant and advised him she would pick him up in a car, other than her own in an attempt to elude arrest from the Niagara County Sheriff's Office. The defendant took this action knowing the party had active warrants and attempted to assist him in transportation out of the county," Morse told NCSO, according to the report.

She was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Lockport Court on June 6.
