ENP STAFF REPORTS

TOWN OF LOCKPORT — Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickle, onions, on a sesame seed bun. Oh, and here's a fake $20 to pay for it.
That was the scenario late Tuesday night at the McDonald's drive-thru on South Transit Road when an unknown white male tried paying for his order with funny money.
According to the report filed with the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, around 11:46 p.m. someone came through in an unknown type of vehicle wearing a hoodie, and handed the fake bill to the person in the drive-thru window. The cashier, feeling that the bill was fake, took it to her manager. While she was away from the window, the car left in an unknown direction.
Patrol secured the counterfeit currency in the property management locker. McDonald's management is going to review the security tape to try to get more details for NCSO.
