TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 22-year-old Burt man stands accused of causing $700 damage to a Lockport man's vehicle when the two had a confrontation in the parking lot of the South Transit Road Walmart Wednesday night.

According to a report filed with the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, the owner of the 2007 Dodge Magnum was sitting in the vehicle talking with a female when he heard a car come to a screeching halt and then heard loud bang hit the rear of his vehicle. Dominic M. Annalora, 22, 2486 Fuller Road, Burt, then approached the driver's side of the complainant's vehicle, opened the door and challenged the man to a fight.

The complainant told patrol that he stepped out of the Dodge Magnum when Annalora took a swing at him, missed, and ran off through the Walmart parking lot.

The complainant said that Annalora had punched the rear hatch area of his vehicle, causing a dent. He said the rear hatch would need to be replaced at a cost of $700.

Patrol spoke with Annalora on Thursday. He admitted that he had challenged the complainant to a fight but said he never touched his vehicle, stating that the dent had already been there.

Annalora was issued an appearance ticket on the charge of third-degree criminal mischief. He is due in the Town of Lockport Court on June 5.
