ENP STAFF REPORTS

Main Street was closed this morning between Pine and
Locust streets.
Getting around Lockport lately has not been easy. After months of local residents trying to avoid potholes, now they're trying to avoid construction.

Road crews were out working this morning on both Locust and Main streets, which had Main Street closed between Pine and Locust streets, and Locust closed between Willow and Millar streets. In addition, paving was going on this morning on Washburn Street near Willow Street.

Road work is likely to continue in the coming weeks as the Lockport Streets Department patches and paves the streets that need it.

There's more photos here. If you snap a photo of roadwork in progress or know about a sudden street closure we haven't reported on, send the details to news@eastniagarapost.com.
