ALBANY — Gov. Andrew Cuomo has chosen former congresswoman, Kathy Hochul as his running mate for the 2014 election.
Cuomo's current Lt. governor, Robert Duffy of Rochester, announced earlier this month that he would not seek re-election.
Hochul won a special election in May of 2011 over Assemblywoman Jane Corwin following the resignation of former congressman, Chris Lee. She then lost a re-election bid in 2012 to current 27th District Congressman Chris Collins.
